Connection Architecture

This hostel located on the coast of the city of Da Nang (Vietnam) has “connection” as its main motto. Coming from a narrow and worn house where the architecture studio HINZSTUDIO decided to create a concept to attract a cultural connection between humans of present and past.

The design of the hostel is reminiscent of Vietnam when it was a French colony. The façade captures attention with its red brick decoration, whose design is essentially the fruit of local culture and craftsmanship.

Inside we can find rough and recycled materials, which helped generate a youthful, elegant, undisciplined and at the same time primitive look, a photograph of the type of client who frequents this space. In addition, we observe how the hydraulic mosaic becomes relevant, transporting us to bygone eras but at the same time preserving a touch of modernity and trend.
